MaxPRO Concrete Mix

MaxPRO Concrete Mix is a fibre reinforced, rapid hardening concrete formulated to provide a 1 hour working time and a walk on time of 4 hours.  MaxPRO Concrete Mix will achieve a compressive strength of 50MPa after 28 days.  The mix provides superior workability and finishing characteristics and resists drying shrinkage cracks.

It is ideal for slabs, footings, pathways posts, fences, letterboxes, clothes lines, swings, BBQ bases, garden edging and more.

It is a Dry mix Concrete which is a combination of aggregate, sand and cement.  This product offers consumers a fast setting premixed product giving a much stronger harder finish. Just Add water.

MaxPRO Concrete Mix is available in waterproof packaging.

Empty bag into a Wheelbarrow or on to a non-porous surface Add water slowly and mix until a stiff, but workable consistency is achieved. Compact the concrete well after placement, Screed level with a board, trowel smooth if required
  • Approximately 2 to 2.3 litres of water to 20kgs of MaxPRO Concrete Mix.
  • Use clean water. Too much water will make the concrete weak.
  • Add water gradually and mix thoroughly to a stiff consistency.
  • Do not add water after the concrete has been mixed as this reduces the strength of the concrete.

Coverage

  • Eight 20kg bags of MaxPRO Concrete Mix will make approximately 1.5 square metres of concrete to a depth of 50mm.
  • Example 5 square metres: 5 metres long by 1 metre wide and depth at 50mm will need approximately 26 bags of 20kg concrete.

  • Wear suitable protective clothing, including gloves and eye protection
  • Avoid contact with eyes and skin from wet and dry cement
  • Avoid breathing dust by wearing suitable respiratory equipment
  • Wash skin thoroughly after handling
